Automated Commission Statement Processing for Insurance Brokers

Insurance brokers receive commission statements from numerous carrier portals in different formats, including PDFs, Excel files, and CSV reports. Operations teams must manually download statements, verify data, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare files for Agency Management Systems (AMS).

As the number of carriers and statements grows, these manual processes become increasingly difficult to manage, resulting in inconsistent data, delayed processing, and limited operational visibility.

We created a centralized commission management platform that automates the complete commission processing workflow.

The platform retrieves commission statements from multiple carrier sources, converts them into a standardized data model, validates records, updates internal ledgers, and generates AMS-ready exports. Built-in administration tools allow business users to manage carrier mappings, configure processing rules, and monitor operational status from a single interface.

To further simplify data transformation, we introduced an AI-powered rules engine that enables users to define business rules in plain English and automatically apply them to future commission statements.
